PTA

The P.T.A. of Cairncastle School is a voluntary organisation set up within the school. The overriding philosophy of the PTA is to raise extra funds for the school by careful planning of specific events. Our aim is to compliment teaching practice by providing up to date equipment in order that each child can meet his or her full potential whilst fostering the ethos of equality, diversity and interdependence.

Meetings are held approximately every 3 months during term time or as required by the committee.

Members are elected on an annual basis at the Annual General meeting of the Board of Governors. Elections take place by nomination including Office Bearers who usually stand in office for 2 years.

Cairncastle Primary has a very active P.T.A. who strive to organize fundraising events that involve the children, parents, family and friends of the school.

Past events include an Autumn Fair, Christmas cards designed by pupils, Ladies Fashion Fix night, Family Treasure Hunt , sponsored Games afternoon, crisp tub challenge, bauble Christmas gifts, movie and munchies night, Christmas raffle.

We are always looking for new ideas for fun ways to raise well needed funds and welcome any suggestions or ideas. Please contact the PTA Secretary via the school.
